IFPW's annual CEO Roundtable assembles chief executives of wholesaler and national distribution association members of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers (IFPW) to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the global pharmaceutical industry and distribution sector.

IFPW's membership is comprised of over 40 of the largest and most influential full-line wholesalers in the global pharmaceutical supply chain. These large, complex organizations from 19 countries are involved in pharmaceutical distribution, pharmaceutical retailing and a wide range of healthcare services to manufacturers, especially biotech and specialty manufacturers.

IQVIA Global Industry Review
Doug Long and Per Troein will open the 2022 CEO Roundtable with a review of global trends and developments, sharing IQVIA's insights into what the year ahead might hold for the pharmaceutical industry.

A Manufacturer Perspective - Pfizer
Angela Hwang, Executive Vice President and President, Pfizer Biopharmaceuicals Group will share thoughts on how the pandemic has affected the industry and what opportunities exist, both with regard to COVID and beyond.

Analyst's View of Industry Opportunities and Developments
A frequent speaker at IFPW meetings, Eric Percher (Nephron) will comment on Investor sentiments for the sector and discuss relevant trends of stakeholders in the Industry that impact pharmaceutical wholesalers.

Use of AI and Blockchain in Healthcare
John Graham (CEO, Zuellig Pharma) and Brian Thornley (Associate Vice President, Supply Excellence, Merck) will discuss how new technologies, including artificial intelligence and blockchain, are being utilized in today's delivery of healthcare with specific examples of solutions in place in South East Asia and Europe.

Creating and Sustaining Organizational LTV
Thought leaders from EY will make a presentation on how organizations can create and sustain value in the long-term. Emphasis will be placed on strategies to address and respond to current challenges and culteral shifts.

How Retailers and Payors are Leveraging Digital Health Solutions
The number of Digital Health solutions and the extent to which they are being used has greatly increased during the pandemic. This session will feature a panel to discuss how pharmacy, both independent and chain, as well as payors are using new platforms and tools to engage with patients and deliver value.

ESG Activities in the Global Pharma Industry - IFPW Members' Panel
Representatives from IFPW's membership - consisting of Association, Wholesaler, and Manufacturer executivies - will engage in a panel discussion around their respective Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activities and how industry stakeholders can collaborate.
